Description: Heroism is a medieval-themed massively-online 3D real-time strategy game (now that's a lot of words!) combining the detail of one on one combat, the tactics of squad combat, and the strategy of winning a land war.

Players may choose from either being a squad leader or a general. Most players will be a squad leader, where they control up to five soldiers in the battlefield. Squad leaders must equip their soldiers intelligently to be prepared for the latest threat on the battlefield. For example, if facing archers, the squad leader should equip their soldiers with shields. If facing armored opponents, equip their soldiers with blunt and piercing weapons. Once in the field, the squad leader attempts to defeat the enemy, capture territory, and keep their soldiers alive as experienced soldiers are far more potent than a brand new recruit. Ultimately, the squad leader's job is to listen to their general, who has a superior view of the war zone and is controlling the overall strategy for the team.

One player per side at any one time may play as the general. The general orchestrates the grand strategy on how to take over the war zone. By sending orders to squads (who are controlled by players) he can lead his team to victory and aid teamwork between the squads. The general also has the additional responsibility of placing defensive structures and building beneficial structures that give upgrades to the team.
